AHS National Show 2009
We had a good one!! Aatiqah (out of Casablanca by Djammal), bred by us, became British National Champion novice ridden mare and reserve overall novice champion at the age of just four years old!!! Huge congratulations to her devoted owners Liv and Julia :)

Djammal returned to the ring after his last win at the Nationals ten years ago and at the age of 23 he won the Veteran stallion class, rsv rsv Senior Male and Champion Veteran

Mozambik and Amber came third in the Young Riders and Mozambik was also fourth in the Intermediate ridden class
As small breeders we are extremely proud to be able to compete at such a level with comparatively few horses bred by us on the ground :)

13/09/08 Our daughter Amber rode MOZAMBIK for the first time in the ring to win the Young Riders class at the UK Gold show. They both made us incredibly proud :O))
08/06/08 Our lovely mare MOZAMBIK won the Novice Ridden mare class today at the Wessex and went on to take the Reserve Championship too! Many thanks to Clare Fitch for riding her superbly ;o)
01/06/08 Huge well done to Julia and Liv on their lovely filly AATIQAH (Azteq x Casablanca Bint Djammal) on her second place at HOCON this weekend. A real achievement in good company! Off to Towerlands we go...!! Oh and Hugh did quite a good job of showing both Aatiqah and Malawi in the treacherous going ;o)
26/05/08 Congratulations to Carolyn and Catherine and their filly JUMAINAH (Aazari x Jammilah) on winning the 2/3 year old filly class and Reserve Champion at Surrey County today
17/05/08 MOZAMBIK (*Sanadik El Shaklan x Monsoon by Djammal) was third in the Novice Ridden mare class at the Wales & West 'C' show. Despite being uncharacteristically tense before the class she went very sweetly for both her jockey Clare Fitch and the judge in the ring :o)
13/04/08 Amber's part bred COURTLAND FAIR CHANGE qualified for the Cherif Championships at his very first outing in the Open ridden classes, coming a very respectable third place in a mixed height class at the Wessex Spring show :o)
20/04/08 The very beautiful AATIQAH (Azteq x Casablanca Bint Djammal), owned by Julia Bosman, was reserve Youngstock Champion at the South East Region Spring show with Hugh.

We purchased Bertie as a green four year old who had been backed in a school six weeks previously. Our daughter Amber was 12 years old and through dedication and love they have forged a partnership which is wonderful to behold. They have come so far together. A combination of hacking, Pony Club, pleasure rides, dressage, showing, show jumping and numerous other things have transformed Bertie into a well rounded 'horse for all courses'! He has a natural flair for jumping and absolutely loves to go cross country...even better if there's water involved! He is a genuine, mannerly pony who only has to be reassured that it's OK, to give it a go. So, until the time comes where Amber outgrows the young man I'm sure they will have much more fun together!

Our daughter Amber and her part bred Courtland Fair Change (Bertie) were second in the Novice Ridden class at Wales and West 'C' show today. This was their very first Arab show and both performed like professionals - just a weeny bit proud of our little girl, being only 12 years old, in a class of adults :o)
